The Shop Is Open and there’s a Lot of New Gear to Check Out
We’ve been open for a little while now, and we just want to say thank you to everyone who has stopped in, booked a fitting, placed an order or told a friend about the shop.
The support from golfers around Harrisburg and throughout Central Pennsylvania has been awesome, and we’ve been busy adding even more equipment and fitting options.
Here’s some of what’s new.
Callaway Is Here
Callaway is now available for custom orders at Great Waffles Golf.
Whether you’re looking at a new driver, irons, wedges or something else, we can help you get the right setup ordered for your game.
New Japanese Brands Are in the Shop
We’ve also brought in a few more Japanese brands that we’re really excited about: Kuro Golf, KAEN Performance Composites and KAMUI Golf.
A big part of what we want to do at Great Waffles Golf is give players a chance to see and try equipment they may not find at a typical golf store.
Kuro Golf
We now have the Kuro TS1 and Classic wedges, along with the GC7 irons.
The wedges have a clean, traditional look and are built for players who care about feel and control around the greens.
The GC7 irons are a little more forgiving and are a good option for golfers who want a premium-looking iron without making the game harder than it needs to be.
If you’ve been curious about Japanese golf equipment, Kuro is definitely worth a look.
KAEN Performance Composites
We’re also now carrying KAEN shafts.
KAEN has options for drivers, fairway woods, hybrids, irons and wedges, with different weights and feels to fit different swings.
That’s really the biggest benefit of having them in the shop. Not every golfer needs the same type of shaft. Some players do better with something lighter, while others need more weight or stability.
It gives us another quality option to work with during a fitting instead of trying to force everyone into the same few shafts.
KAMUI Golf
KAMUI Golf is another new addition.
Their irons and wedges have the clean look and solid feel that a lot of golfers associate with Japanese clubs.
The irons offer a nice mix of looks and playability, while the wedges are focused on feel and control around the green.
They’re the kind of clubs that make a lot more sense once you get them in your hands and see them in person.
More Fitting Carts Have Arrived
Our fitting setup keeps growing too.
We now have fitting carts from:
- Honma
- Epon
- Wilson Staff
- TaylorMade
- Mizuno
That gives us a lot more combinations to work through during a fitting and makes it easier to compare different brands side by side.
We’re also proud to say that Great Waffles Golf is now ACCRA Performance Fitting Certified.
ACCRA gives us another strong shaft option to work with, especially for golfers looking to fine-tune feel, ball flight and overall consistency.
And as always, fittings are free with purchase.
