The Callaway X Forged Max Star irons bring a new level of distance and forgiveness to a forged players-style iron. Built with Callaway’s Dual Mild Carbon Steel Structure, the face and back section are forged separately from S20C mild carbon steel and joined to create a deep pocket cavity that combines soft forged feel with higher launch and added ball speed.

The deeper cavity and thin, high-rebound face create a higher, deeper center of gravity that helps produce easier launch and added spin stability. A wider sole works together with Callaway’s Tri-Level Sole design to improve turf interaction and reduce digging, making the Max Star especially playable for golfers who want the feel of a forged iron without giving up forgiveness.

The Japanese-market design is finished with a distinctive X-inspired back-cavity pattern influenced by traditional Kiriko cut-glass styling, giving the iron a premium look that separates it from standard X Forged models.
